Nothing Up His Sleeve

Ryan wanted a website to help advertise his services as a magician. The design needed to be crisp and clean, yet eye-catching and inviting, as well as incorporating the theme of playing cards in some way.

Along with the website design, we were also tasked with designing a logo for him, so it made sense to build the idea of both magic and the playing card theme into the logo. Along with these two elements, we created a spotlight effect to highlight the logo and picked other strong colours to offset the site's content and make everything really stand out. 

Content Management

Ryan wanted to be able to edit his own content, and his additional requirements for a photo gallery and contact form fit right in with the capabilities of the MODx CMS which we are using increasingly for client sites.

Using MODx allows Ryan to log in whenever he likes and with a few clicks he can easily update his gallery, biography and anything else he needs to.

Knowing exactly what the client is after is paramount to keeping delivery times short and any further amendments to a minimum. Using our Design Proforma we were able to get all the information we needed from Ryan and he was very happy with the result:
